A Free Range Turkey is brine cured with our Ginger-Szechuan brine for that asian burn ready for you to bake or deep fry at home. Brining ensures that your turkey will remain moist during cooking. We take no responsiblity if you decide to deep fry the turkey yourself at home. We warn customers that this is a dangerous process and should read the following precautions from an authority.
Serves 10 to 12 persons. (minimum net weight 5kg)
Free Range Turkey, maple syrup, bourbon, water, ground mustard, bay leaves, organic lake salt, mineral salt(451,452,500). CONTAINS: Preservative GLUTEN FREE
For cooking remove all plastic, rub with olive oil and your favourite herbs and spices. For those who have made their own stuffing remove the neck and any loose pieces from the cavity of the poultry and place the stuffing in loosely (Stuffings that contain meat should always be precooked). Place in a pre-heated oven at 175ºC on a rack in a tray if possible. Cook for approximately 2.5 hours or more ensuring that the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 65°C (at the thickest part of the turkey). Baste often with oil or the poultry’s own juices. Please note that if you put a stuffing into your turkey it will take longer.
